Turkey and Gators

Our trek to Florida for the Thanksgiving weekend was a lot of fun. We enjoyed good food and good times with many members of Jon's family and extended family. The girls had many admirers, as is the case at most family gatherings, and they enjoyed playing with their cousins Josh and Molly.

To Abbey and Elizabeth's dad, no trip to Florida would be complete without a visit to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on the University of Florida campus. The day after his beloved Gators defeated Florida State, Jon decided a trip to the "holy ground" was in order for his daughters. As you can clearly see, Abbey and Elizabeth's reactions to the alligator statue at the entrance to the stadium were mixed at best. And when dad rolled them into the bright orange stadium, better known as "The Swamp," the girls were just glad they could save face in their Crimson stroller.

(Who wants to bet Jon will see to it that I don't get to post any more Florida pictures?)

Cute, cute, cute! I love the pic with the gator! They are so grownup! I agree that it's good that they had their crimson stroller to balance out all the florida vibes!
