Big Weekend

The girls' big weekend started with their Grandmother and Aunt Holly at our favorite (and tolerant)(and loud) Mexican restaurant to celebrate Holly's birthday. May no one speak ill of high chairs with seat belts and tortillas with refried beans

Westside!!

On Saturday, we spent a few hours at Samford's homecoming visiting with Amy's classmates and sorority sisters and their husbands and their kids. In my defense, several of the husbands seemed as confused as me as to why we weren't watching football.

On Sunday we went back to the park to try the swings again. Unfortunately a few much-too-old fathers of very young children decided they wouldn't have to actually play with their kids if they hogged the infant swings and talked shop while occasionally pushing their bored kids. Abbey and Elizabeth enjoyed the slides, other kids, and dogs.

Mission accomplished, lots of energy used up.

Back home, deciding which Christmas gifts cost more.

Too cute! It looks like everyone had a good weekend! Is that grass at that park or astroturf? It's so green and lush! Life is good in Bham I guess!
